Morah Zelda Zemel volunteers each week as our Music Therapy Teacher, and she is beloved by our students. She finds the experience of working with JEMS each week to be wholly satisfying, and she loves each and every student. She has taught them to play various percussion instruments, as well as many songs, accompanying them on her keyboard. She has now embarked on teaching them to play xylophones and recognize the 8 basic musical tones.

Mrs Jaraslowicz, fondly known as Mrs. J, runs an integrative class each week with specially selected middle school boys, and teaches JEMS boys how to use various clay techniques and instruments. You can see the wonder on our students' faces as they create beautiful projects, while stimulating their creative side, and enjoying mentoring from their middle school friends.

Amy Salzman, BCBA, volunteers her time to teach various skills to our students, like baking challah, and she also brings her dog in for the children to enjoy playing with as a therapy dog. She has included her children in her volunteer activities, with her son, Binyomin, making balloon shows and doing ventriloquism acts, and her daughter, Devorah, helping out in the classroom.
